The way I think about things is exactly as you describe it, sometimes even to a degree that I have to turn my head to the left or right in order to "look" at a map and visualize cardinal directions, for example. Then, once the post gained traction and started getting a LOT of attention, /u/NolanT responded with this which became one of the top most downvoted comments in all of reddit. However, it came to a head about 3 weeks ago when this post blew up, which details /u/ApostleO ‘s issue with customer support and unfair banning. This is a red flag right away because someone in control of a product shouldn’t be in the charge of the reddit community discussing it. u/NolanT is a cofounder of Roll20 and, until shit hit the fan, was a moderator of the Roll20 subreddit. TL DR /u/NolanT and the staff of Roll20 banned a redditor who had 5 years of paid service using the site, for seemingly no reason other than he was criticizing Roll20 and had a username similar to another redditor who had been banned for criticism. Ask questions (which way was the bus going when it splashed the man?) Basically get her to think about her own cognition. Reverse the situation, have her describe a recent memory with a decent amount of spatial goings on. You'll both need to figure out the best "file format" to put your internal image into words, into her ears and back into something workable. Internally, now it's: "I'm in a stone room, on the wall opposite me is a looming wooden bookcase, overstuffed with mouldering tomes" But if I'm looking for traps, or wary, I'll ask where bookcase is, how tall it is, and what the walls are made of, etc. If someone tells me "You enter a room with a bookcase", internally I have "You are in a room with a bookcase." If that's enough for the scene, that's all I need. I read a lot, so internal storage of these is more like a paragraph.
